The cross-dressing, unusually light skin Snapchat sensation Bobrisky is all about his money.

Bobrisky with his exciting spoken English is now monetizing his fame. On SnapChat he shared his advert rates.

Bobrisky whose real name is Okuneye Idris Olanrewaju boasts of over 300,000 followers on SnapChat. With this large following, Bobrisky says a week for a paid advert on his SnapChat goes for N100,000. If you are interested in advertising for a month it goes for N300,000.

Bobrisky has arrived big time. He is flipping his fragile social media celebrity status into a money making venture. Not many celebs can think like this.

The question remains who will pay Bobrisky to advertise on his SnapChat account. Bobrisky is no DJ Khaled but maybe he will be patronised by skin lightening merchants, cosmetic companies and makeup artists.

Bobrisky is bent on extending his fifteen minutes of notoriety. He spoke at a conference in Abuja last year and went on a UK 'tour'. Rumour has it that he was charging people money before they took selfies with him. Talk about guts.

Since his arrival, Bobrisky seems to be the new face of the 'colourful' and 'eccentric' squad. The poster boy used to be Denrele Edun but these days Bobrisky with his light skin face is the poster boy.

His emergence has once again reignited the rights of LGBT people in Nigeria. As it stands now, homosexuality is illegal in Nigeria. Bobrisky has maintained he isn't gay even though he sometimes refers to his anonymous bae as 'he'.

For now, Bobrisky is enjoying his notoriety that might be over anytime from now.
